Position Summary:

GOLFTEC is in search of a dedicated club fitter to join our team. The successful applicant will conduct custom club fittings with both current students and perspective clients that are new to GOLFTEC. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be focused on providing a great customer experience from the first contact to the time when a customer picks up their new clubs. The Certified Club Fitter will be knowledgeable on all GOLFTEC services and will work closely with members of the GOLFTEC team to identify students who have golf clubs that are impeding their ability to improve and perform. The Certified Club Fitter will be the expert on all of the different merchandise and club options that GOLFTEC offers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the expert Club Fitter in a GOLFTEC Center
• Provide an excellent customer experience for all GOLFTEC patrons
• Use professional judgment and expertise to recommend custom club options to clients
• Work with other GOLFTEC Coaches to identify Students who have equipment that is limiting performance
• Document each club fitting using GOLFTEC’s proprietary software and fitting tools
• Educate other GOLFTEC Coaches in the Center with club fitting expertise and knowledge of merchandise
• Ensure proper inventory controls are being used effectively
• Maintain the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, club fitting tools and technology
• Mobility is an essential function of this career. Coaches generally need physical capabilities to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for sometimes extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds

Qualifications:

• 1 -2 years of experience in club fitting desired
• Prior experience in golf equipment sales and customer service
• Prior experience with use of technology in club fitting including but not limited to launch monitors
• Enthusiastic team player with a passion for golf and helping others
• PGA/LPGA Member or Apprentice is highly desired
