For more than 28 years Pegasus has been a leader in the home health care field. We are a preferred partner for Kaiser and Optum and several area hospitals and we are looking for certified home health aides (CHHA) to perform home health visits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Availability of at least two days, or ten productivity units a week and one weekend a month for per diem. Mostly in mornings.
• Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, auto insurance
• Be a CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE

Responsibilities of the home health aide include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Providing personal care including:

A. Baths
B. Back rubs
C. Oral hygiene
D. Shampoos
E. Changing bed linen
F. Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
G. Skin care to prevent breakdown
H. Assisting the patient with toileting activities
I. Keeping patient's living area clean and orderly, as appropriate

2. Planning and preparing nutritious meals.

3. Assisting in feeding the patient, if necessary.

4. Taking and recording oral, rectal or axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency).

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $30.00 per hour
