This position will work out of both of our care center locations, Bellevue and Issaquah.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMA)

Position Identification

Title: Medical Assistant

Status: Full Time

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will:

• Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all physicians, employees, patients and outside clients
• The CMA acts as a patient care coordinator and advocate, maintains clinical supplies, maintains proper documentation, assures an optimal patient flow and experience, and follows OSHA/WISHA/other compliance and regulatory guidelines
• Positioning patients for exams and procedures
• Do injections as directed
• Bandaging patients
• Obtaining vitals and chief complaints
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn unfamiliar tasks and equipment operation within the scope of position
• To accept change in a positive and professional manner and to lead others in the same

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will have:

• Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant training program.
• 3+ years, related experience preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle for transportation to locations
• Current Washington State license as a certified medical assistant

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will have:

• Knowledge of insurance specifications
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Skill in basic data entry
• Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physician and staff
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
• Ability to prepare records in accordance with detailed instructions
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Consistency and timeliness in attendance
