Cape Fox Shared Services and Eagle Health are seeking a Certified Medical Technician - CMT II to work full-time at the FDA in Silver Spring, MD.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Answering phone
• Scheduling appointments
• Assist with maintaining and updating medical records in the Electronic Medical Record System
• Scan documents into the Electronic Medical Records System and to maintain a clean and organized clinic
• Functions as a member of the nursing team in providing direct patient care, such as taking vital signs
• May perform basic laboratory procedures, such as collecting blood specimens, testing specimens and recording results
• Should be familiar with EKG, audiometry, and spirometry testing equipment
• Participate in wellness program administration
• Document all clinical findings, i.e., vital signs, in accordance with clinic guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Administer treatments, immunizations, and medications as indicated and directed by medical staff
• Assist in maintaining appropriate equipment, maintenance schedules, clinic inventories
• Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the quality of services provided in the occupational health units
