About us

West Melbourne Dentist is a single Dr general dental practice in West Melbourne, FL. We like to provide nice work for nice people. You should have general dental chairside experience, and be familiar with dental implant surgery, crown/bridge temporaries, composite restorations, digital xrays and photos, and Dentrix software. We are fee-for-service only, no HMO or capitation.

We are looking for a full-time dental assistant to support our practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with patients and helping them feel at ease. The dental assistant will be primarily responsible for chairside assisting duties, with some lab work and ensuring that examinations and treatments run smoothly. You may occasionally help with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the dental office for patient arrival.
• Assist the Dr as needed with patient care.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Pouring or mounting models as needed
• Perform routine office tasks, such as scheduling the next appointment, entering data, and making copies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
• General Dental Chairside Assisting: 1 year (Required)

• X-Ray Certification (Required)
