What We’re Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a full-time Change manager to join the Network Services department. As the Change Manager you will provide effective system operation to evaluate and strengthen existing change management processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Understanding of the needs of a diverse student population within a Christian higher education setting and an openness to cultural humility.
• Be successful communicating and interacting with all campus populations including students, faculty, and staff.

A Bachelor’s degree, three years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master’s degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate and strengthen existing change management processes to provide effective system operations
• Align change management practices with industry best practices
• Builds relationships that foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies, priorities, and service to the customer
• Engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs.
• Ensure changes are recorded and evaluated, and authorized changes are prioritized, planned, tested, coordinated, scheduled, communicated, implemented, documented, and reviewed in a controlled manner.
• Conduct Post Change Implementation Reviews to understand change results, invoke appropriate actions to address unsuccessful changes, and close changes appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate and facilitate collaboration and coordination effectively with all parties involved with the technical changes.
• Perform problem analysis, conduct root cause investigations, and manage corrective and preventative measures.
• Gather appropriate required info and prepare for internal and external audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
