The Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation (LTFF) was established in 1997 by Bill Lobeck and Kathy Taylor. The Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation’s mission is to decrease the barriers associated with Tulsans achieving their goals through entrepreneurship, innovation and economic opportunity. To fulfill this mission, the Foundation acts as a grantmaker, innovator, and convener. LTFF supports the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems in Tulsa through The Lobeck Taylor Operating Foundation (LTOF) and its programing, including Mother Road Market, Kitchen 66, Shops at Mother Road Market and Tulsa Market District, as well as through grants to organizations including 36 Degrees North, Tulsa Area United Way Social Innovation Grants, i2E, SCORE, Sustainable Tulsa, T-Town Tacos and many more.

The Chief Financial Officer is an exempt, salaried position with bonus opportunity and a competitive benefits package, including company paid health and dental insurance. The salary range starts at $120,000 to commensurate with experience, and will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Role Description:
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the accounting, treasury, human resources and administrative support areas of the organization. The CFO will also direct and oversee investment advisors, insurance advisors, external tax and accounting consultants, budgeting and financial activities of the corporation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees Accounting department and budget preparation.
- Oversees the Human Resources Generalist, including payroll.
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
- Ensures the continued financial viability of LTFF’s operating programs and grantmaking through sound fiscal management and oversight in partnership with the Leadership Team and external finance teams.
- Oversees investment advisors and the Foundation’s investments.
- Works closely with the investment team and tax preparation team to ensure timely and complete financial planning.
- Compiles and disperse monthly financial reports to the finance committee and leadership team.
- Oversees and coordinates with investment advisors regarding investment activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Facilitates the monthly budget to actual analysis meetings, comparing sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses.
- Directs the annual budget planning process including the preparation of reports for the Board.
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
- Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Identifies opportunities to leverage LTFF’s investments to achieve the mission.
- Analyzes the monthly cash needs and requests appropriate amounts from investments.
- Approves and provides controls for expenses including but not limited to payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and capital expenditures.
- Oversight of treasury functions.
- Design and maintain sustainable compensation and benefits structure.
- Salary and benefits analysis, including annual benefits enrollment.
- Oversee and supervise annual insurance premium renewals.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Eight to ten years of experience in financial management is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
