This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

This is a Claims Analyst role within the Property & Casualty subrogation division auto claims unit.

• Provide expertise claims support by reviewing, researching, and investigating all types of claims specifically with auto claims within the property and casualty insurance carriers in the marketplace
• Effectively gather information related to property and casualty claim services
• Investigate liability and subrogation potential via claim review and phone

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED (or higher)
• 6+ months of experience working with property and casualty claims
• 1+ years of experience in claims recovery and resolution OR 1+ years of experience in a supporting role within a claims department (History Clerk, etc.)
• Proficient with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• Ability to work from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience investigating auto claims for subrogation recovery

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills:

• Ability to multi-task, utilizing multiple systems
• Comfortable speaking on the phone regarding claim information
