Anchor Auto Group is expanding our trucking division. We are looking for a CDL Class A driver ideally experienced in car hauling, but we will train the right candidate. The primary territory will be within a 200-mile radius of the dealership, in a not-for-hire environment.

We have 2 brand new Peterbilts new generation 579, 12-speed fully automated transmission, with 2 brand new trailers: Cottrell CX-5308LT NexGen and a Sun Country 53' NextGen, as well as a new 2023 Flatbed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with DOT truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Handle loading and unloading vehicles on/off of the carrier
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Conscientious, reliable and responsible
• Experience with hauling vehicles a plus!
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Valid truck driving license
