Client Service Associate
Job description
The Client Service Associate position will focus on enhancing the client experience by providing unparalleled client service, while also serving as administrative and operational support to the firm and Financial Advisors. If you are detailed oriented with proven organizational skills, can manage time efficiently, and have a good understanding of finance, this may be the opportunity for you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Collect appropriate documentation to set up new accounts.
· Process account service requests and ensure appropriate documentation.
· Educate clients on account services and capabilities.
· Leverage various communication channels to keep in touch with clients (e.g., send out birthday cards, e-mail research newsletters)
· Direct incoming phone calls to appropriate team member
· Input data into Financial Planning tools
· Input tasks within appropriate system and complete associated paperwork
· Assist in the preparation of client reports and other materials for client meeting.
· Review daily branch reports and alerts and process accordingly.
· Organize logistics of team marketing events, develop, and maintain team marketing materials.
· Provide team with up-to-date calendar including daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
· Proactively develop self to continuously improve knowledge, skills and credentials and communicate development needs to Client Relationship Manager as applicable
Required Qualifications
· 3-5 years industry and client service experience are required; appreciation for the industry
· Strong client service skills, first-hand experience interacting directly with customers; a genuine interest in serving and caring for our clients.
· Intermediate to advanced level computer skills, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with strong skills in Word, Outlook and Excel.
