Our client is seeking a Clinical Therapist for a Direct Hire position with their behavioral health facility in Columbus, IN.
The Program Therapist assists residents in meeting their psychosocial needs through various treatment modialities such as group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, case management, education, etc. The program therapist coordinates treatment services and works with the multidisciplinary treatment team to drive the direction of the individual resident's treatment goals and interventions. The program therapist is the liaison between outside referral sources/guardians and facilities after care placement and treatment services.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of family and group therapy techniques.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention procedures.
- Knowledge of strong clinical assessment skills.
- Knowledge of therapeutic planning and techniques.
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Skill in telephone etiquette and paging procedures.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers.
- Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to use good judgement and to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication.

Education: Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required.
Experience: Two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and HWC training within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a seclusion/restraint procedure.
- Dayshift, M-F, 8-5
- Salary range around 55-60k DOE
- Must be comfortable working with children and adolescents.
