Job description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our dynamic team at our Elgin, Illinois location.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to print using vertical CNCs and or CNC lathes Promote teamwork.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. Promote and ensure safe working practices and a healthy work environment Report all maintenance issues in writing to the appropriate Department Supervisor and Operations Managers.
• Any other duties that me be assigned by department manager.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of CNC mill experience
• Understanding of M and G code
• Basic computer skills
• Able to work with and give feedback to department supervisors to resolve issues on the shop floor.
• Ability to adapt to changing work loads
• Must be organized and self-motivated.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong decision-making skills
• Strong math skills.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Able to lift at 25 lbs.
• Experience with Fanuc controls programing experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.69 - $36.71 per hour
