We are currently seeking to fill positions for experienced Collections Agent for our Lenexa, KS office.

Summary: The Collections Agent will initiate the appropriate action to assist consumers in resolving delinquent accounts

Experience: Previous customer service, collections, sales, and/or telemarketing experience is preferred but not required

Competency:

· Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

· Strong problem solving and negotiation skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Must be computer proficient and capable of working with collections software

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Ability to multi-task and attention to detail

Profile for Success:

· Experience in Student Loans/Credit Cards/Retail/Auto Loan industry or any other financial sector

· Ability to work in a fast paced goal oriented team

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· Highly Motivated

Day to Day Responsibilities Include:

· Inbound/Outbound collection calls and document/status notes

· Assist consumers in establishing payment arrangements to resolve delinquent accounts

· Maintain key performance metrics while complying with FDCPA and State Regulations

· Participate in regular meetings and communicates opportunities for process improvement.

**Background checks and drug screens are performed.
