Commercial Construction Site Safety
This is a permanent, full-time job offering an excellent salary and benefits package and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Assist safety director and help develop and maintain company safety policies and improve company safety standards and EMR ratings.
Coordinate with job site and office management teams
Teach OSHA 30 safety classes
Exceed all local, state, and federal safety and OSHA requirements
Jobsite safety job walks and lead safety start-up meetings
Work with OSHA, CalOSHA, and Insurance companies on injuries and workers comp claims
Track reportable incidents
Requirements
5+ years of commercial construction safety experience
OSHA 500
Local and stable work-history
Preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Associates or higher in Safety Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
Prior hands-on construction experience
Safety / construction related Professional Credentials such as CSP, CHST, OHST or ASP
