Concord Hill School Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the School’s communications and collaborates with other stakeholders in the school to advance the mission, program, goals, and culture of the school by highlighting the school’s programs and people. The CC is also responsible for the creation of multimedia content that delivers operational information as well as mission-aligned editorial content to all constituents across all platforms and publications (website, email, social media, signage, magazine, and other print collateral).
Position:
- Part or Full time year round (11-month) position, reporting directly to the
- The schedule could be flexible based on candidates' needs. Preference is full time however, 3-4 days a week is possible.
- Position to commence the summer of August 2023 (July or August)
- Salary Range $50,000-$80,000 depending upon part or full time and level of experience
- Reports to the Director of Advancement and serves on the School-wide Leadership Team.
Primary Responsibilities & Opportunities
- Design, implement, and continually improve the school’s communications strategy, along with the accompanying policies, practices, and tactical plans.
- Provide essential communications support to the Head of School, Advancement, DEIC, Admission, and Auxiliary teams and programs.
- Understand key audiences (e.g. parents/guardians, alumni, prospective families, faculty and staff, students, donors, etc.) and oversee tailored strategic communications that support the school’s relationships with each group.
- Analyze the readership and impact of communications channels, including but not limited to the CHS website, the weekly newsletters, The Courier Magazine, social media channels, school-wide emails, Admissions materials, and Advancement materials; pursuing adjustments as needed.
- Manage CHS website, including:
- Oversight and maintenance of web content, including news, calendar, portals, directories, and more, in partnership with IT where appropriate. Manage day-to-day communications with Finalsite regarding website issues or enhancements.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
