Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director, Compensation, the Executive Compensation Consultant Sr will be responsible for the execution and administration of all aspects of the Company’s total direct compensation executive programs. This includes the design and integration of all executive incentive programs. Partners with the HR Business Partners or directly with line management in the development of new organizational structures and job design for executive level roles. Provides advice and guidance to executive level - management in the application of compensation programs, ensuring equity and fair application. Provides a high level of technical direction to other department members related to executive programs and organizational design.

  • Serve as the primary contact point on all executive compensation matters. Acts as SME on executive compensation programs including development and integration.
  • Prepares meeting materials for the Board of Directors meeting and attends meetings as required to explain or clarify issues.
  • Ensures executive compensation materials are available, accurate, complete, and prepared on a timely basis.
  • Develop supporting materials and communications for executive communication programs. Provides guidance and background on program features and interprets plan provisions.
  • Provides analytical and technical support for executive compensation activities and processes.
  • Consult with management to evaluate and benchmark job descriptions to ensure that base, incentives and equity remain competitive.
  • Responsible for executive compensation analyses and assists in determining external market competitiveness, market practices, trends and internal execution against executive compensation philosophy and strategy. Prepares reports and proposals.
  • Investigates alternative incentive plan options and determines feasibility and makes recommendations.
  • Lead market pricing efforts annually with outside vendor and/or consultants.
  • Lead long-term incentive (LTI) award allocation and development of record keeping processes and systems.
  • Partners with HR staff to execute specific compensation processes and procedures.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local compensation legal requirements.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7 years of experience in all aspects of executive compensation including incentive plan design and administration.
  • Achievement of CCP (Certified Compensation Professional).
  • CECP (Certified Executive Compensation Professional) preferred.
  • Experience in HRIS systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting compensation survey data.
  • Familiar with a variety of compensation concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including high proficiency in Excel.

NOTE: AmeriHealth Caritas utilizes a hybrid work environment with associates working from home two days a week, and in the office three days a week. The functions of this position will be performed onsite at our offices located at 3805 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, 19073.
