Our Impact:

The Capital Markets Compliance team is responsible for executing upon the Compliance framework and methodology. We provide independent oversight of compliance with laws and regulations, including identifying, assessing and reporting on Capital Markets Compliance and certain Finance-related risks, performing Compliance monitoring, supporting Compliance testing, remediating issues and ensuring that the firm operates within its Compliance risk appetite.

Your Impact:

  • Provide independent oversight of compliance with Capital Markets-related and Finance laws and regulations, including monitoring
  • Support the Compliance testing team as a subject matter expert for Capital Markets Compliance risk
  • Remediate issues involving Capital Markets Compliance and Finance risk owned by Compliance and oversee the remediation of Capital Markets Compliance and Finance risk issues owned by the 1LOD or 2LOD enterprise risk partners
  • Influence colleagues in the Enterprise Risk Management departments in their work to understand and mitigate compliance risks
  • Report on the results of Compliance oversight activities and on the Capital Markets Compliance risk profile
  • Influence the 1LOD in its efforts to identify, assess, mitigate and report on Compliance risks
  • Advance the culture of risk management at the firm

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred with 8-10 years or more of work experience in compliance or another risk management function
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in risk management: such as risk identification, including identification of risks related to laws and regulations, development of policies, standards and procedures, risk assessment, monitoring, testing, issue management, risk appetite and metrics, and reporting
  • Understanding of the mortgage securities markets or mortgage-backed securities is a plus
  • Subject matter expertise in laws and regulations, and capital markets is preferred

The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $163,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
