Purpose of Position:

The Compliance Systems Manager will oversee firearm and regulated merchandise compliance at all Sportsman's Warehouse locations (including E-Commerce). The Compliance Systems Manager will review reports, products and SKUs to ensure company compliance with ATF, federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend industry seminars and events promoting lawful trade in the firearm industry
• Extensive written and verbal correspondence with ATF, legal counsel, consultants and store personnel regarding compliance matters
• Review of Tomax and Oracle Discoverer reports to ensure store compliance with ATF and federal, state and local regulations
• Review of Sportsman’s Warehouse products and SKUs to ensure company compliance with ATF, federal, state and local laws and regulations
• Review and execution of inter-store firearm transfers
• Manage and oversee firearm returns
• Take in-bound phone calls from Sportsman's Warehouse locations regarding ATF and Tomax ‘gun-log’ related matters
• Assist with Hunting Department training manuals, updates and deployments
• Maintain and update Federal Firearm Licenses for firearm vendors
• Process and analyze data to minimize errors and maintain compliance
• Manage the sign builder for firearm SKUs
• Manage serial masking for firearm SKUs

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Comprehensive knowledge of Tomax, Oracle, High-Jump and Oracle Discoverer
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of ATF rules, regulations and documentation
• Thorough knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they relate to compliance Education and Training:
• A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study; or
• A minimum of 5 years in Compliance or Program Management; or
• An appropriate combination of education and experience

Travel Requirements: This position may require some travel.
