Job Description:

Our company seeks an experienced Development Construction Manager to oversee construction of residential multi-unit buildings. Ideal candidates have 10+ years construction management experience, a strong understanding of the construction process, permitting and contractor management.

Responsibilities:(but not limited to)

• Review Architectural and engineering plans and documents
• Cost engineer the project
• Manage construction schedule, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion of work
• Obtain all construction permits from municipalities
• Communicate regularly with contractors
• Oversee quality control and ensure work meets high standards
• Monitor contractor/subcontractor performance, resolve conflicts, and enforce safety standards
• Develop/maintain project budgets, track expenses, forecast costs for residential multi-unit buildings
• Ensure all construction work meets safety regulations and requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
• 10+ years construction management experience, with a focus on residential multi-unit buildings
• Strong understanding of construction processes/techniques for residential multi-unit buildings
• Experience obtaining permits and navigating local regulations/codes
• Ability to read/interpret Architectural and engineering plans, construction documents, including blueprints/plans/specifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team for residential multi-unit buildings
• Proficiency with construction management software and tools for residential multi-unit buildings
