Construction Manager III for Gannett Fleming Engineers & Architects, PC to work at our NYC loc.

Respond to Emergency Construction tasks 24/7 w/in 2 hours, incl contact + coord contractors w/ equipment, materials, + manpower, managing + coord manpower over multiple shifts at mult locs throughout 5 boros. Work w/ elected officials + other stakeholders. Prep TRM Analysis. Prep + monitor QC + QA Plans. Prep + monitor cost loaded project schedules using Primavera + MS Project + adapt to other sched sofwares incl BIM estimating + sched. Conduct delay analysis w/ justifications. Construction observation + insp. Provide ideas for means + methods to better serve project safety, time, + cost. Use construction mgt software (e.g., Procore + Ebuilder) for bidding work, doc mgt, + sched. AP/AR responsibilities for overseeing project accountants + setting up project billing in CM13 + BST 10 for emergency fast-paced projects. Plan + oversee field explorations, construction projects, + lab testing. Design + analysis of shallow + deep foundations for existing + new structures. Understand + interpret settlement estimates, lateral earth pressure assessments for retaining walls. Plan + oversee vibration + percolation analysis, + ground improvement assessments for complex sites.

Little domestic travel involved.

May undergo back checks incl drug screen and MV check.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have Bach in Engineering or Construction Management or rel field and 10 years rel facilities experience in NYC projects adhering to NYC Building Codes or Master’s in Engineering or Construction Management or rel field and 7 years rel facilities experience in NYC projects adhering to NYC Building Codes. Also reqs the following skills (5 yrs exp) in: scheduling, estimating, reviewing technical submittals and specifications, inspections, QC; communicating and navigating between clients, users, and elected officials.

Also reqs EIT designation and driver’s license.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
