Essential Job functions:
Create & manage virtual conferences via CVENT virtual meeting platform.
Creation & Landing Page and Registration Portal
Create and submit Activity CE Application with activity director.
Manage in-person conferences, securing event space contract, space catering and audiovisual.
Manage all speaker requirements (letters, practice sessions, disclosures, honorariums).
Communicate directly with program faculty and implement independently the program planning tasks as assigned by Continuing Education leadership.
Serve independently as the primary CME/CPE accreditation compliance liaison with clinical departments/divisions at VCU Health System and external organizations (joint providers).
Finance: Activity budget planning and post activity budget closeout.

Employment Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, or a health care related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in medical care, health education, event planning or similar work environment.
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Adult Learning, Higher Education Administration, Marketing, or related field

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years of work experience in a health care, education and/or clinical setting, preferably at VCU or VCU Health System. Understanding of health care providers’ needs for continuing education. Experience in a continuing education program environment. Experience in an organization with compliance reporting requirements.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service skills Experience in MS Office Suite, in particular spreadsheet development and database reporting.
Employee must be self-supporting for email and documentation generation in MS Office.
