SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEWTo Assess, Monitor, and Enhance business performance for our organization. In this role, The Continuous Improvement Specialist will analyze current practices and help develop business process improvements as well as implement changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES
- Analyzing company processes and procedures.
- Developing process enhancement strategies.
- Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
- Leading the cross-functional process improvement teams in defining, investigating, and solving the problem.
- Supporting management in the development, planning, and execution of CI strategy
- Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.
- Ensuring safe work environment & participating in site safety program using OSHA guidelines.
- Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes.
- Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimization.
- Document process changes and improvements to recognize and sustain gains
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Associate Degree
- 3 Years of automotive industry distribution experience
- Organized with attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to positively motivate employees
- Ability to demonstrate follow-through on work assignments
- Ability to work well under pressure
