Job description

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the development of a template for use in comprehensive contract reviews
  • Carefully review contracts and create program review materials for each contract
  • Collaborate with Contracting Officers, Contract Administrators, and Program Managers to develop and manage contract review documentation
  • Review contract terms and conditions to verify compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations and company policy
  • Develop tools and methodologies for monitoring progress according to the schedule of completion to submit drafts and documents in a timely manner
  • Analyze performance of procurement activities against various indicators, goals, trends
  • Maintain the contract administration record-keeping and reporting system
  • Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into strategies and market trends
  • Assist in developing and reviewing price workbooks and bid sheet
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and the public
  • Maintain confidentiality in all work-related matters
  • Assure a high level of quality in performance of all work
  • Adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations
  • Assume other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed

  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 10 lbs. as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial and Federal contract pricing structures (FFP, Cost Plus, IDIQ, etc.), regulations (FAR and DFARS), and practices
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and legal terminology

Experience:

  • 2+ years of legal or paralegal experience, preferably working directly with contract law
  • 2+ years researching legal regulations and clauses
  • 2+ years reviewing federal contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Knowledge of current and legally-binding contractual language and terminology
  • Proficiency in developing PowerPoint slides, Excel Spreadsheets, and in Microsoft Word
  • Experience drafting contracts and agreements is a plus
  • Knowledge of the AbilityOne Program is a plus
