Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time, benefited Managerial 5 level position. Starting salary range: $78,450 - $88,683/annually, depending upon experience.

Essential Functions:
Essential Functions: this position is Exempt, i.e., is not eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA.
- Learning Environment Quality Standards
The Coordinator will plan, develop, and implement the College’s instructional initiatives associated with measurable and learner-centered standards in curricular designs and instructional delivery. Specifically, the Coordinator will be responsible for consistent course design, instruction delivery, curriculum alignment, and collaborate with the Vice President of Performance and Planning in developing competency-based assessment.
- Learning Standards Assurance
The Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing a process to consistently and continuously assess the College’s learning environments to ensure they meet the LCCC learning environment quality standards. The Coordinator will contribute to the College’s cycle of continuous improvement through cyclical analysis of LMS data, cyclical reporting of Quality Matters initiative, and quality course design improvement. - Technology Assistance
The Coordinator will assist in supporting all technology-enhanced instruction as a member of the CET. Closely related to this role is support for our students’ opportunity to articulate their learning outcomes as a result of a transformative and meaningful learning experience at the College. All students at LCCC have the opportunity to formalize their learning through their portfolio; the Coordinator, Learning Experience will assist all faculty in incorporating this opportunity across all programs. Specifically, software administration, collaboration with Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs and Pathway Coordinators in portfolio development for the LCCC Strategies for Success class, and portfolio curation, identifying milestone articulation
Instructional Responsibilities
The Coordinator will have expectations for the fulfillment of instructional responsibilities associated with their role, as well as the requirement to demonstrate the behavioral competencies expected of all LCCC faculty. These functional and behavioral responsibilities include teaching up to 8 credits per year.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Professional knowledge and ability with tools and processes associated with Quality Matters.
- Ability to continuously monitor and research changes in the industry and field of study and to adapt program offerings to meet these standards.
- Advanced working knowledge and ability with personal computing applications – specifically Microsoft Office Suite) and Adobe products.
- Skills and abilities to perform as an organized, self-starter, and able to handle expeditiously, accurately, and confidentially the rapid receipt of communications from all sources—written, email, voice mail, one-on-one with attention to detail; able to act on own initiative while exercising reasonable judgment.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate clearly with a variety of people, in one-to-one and small group settings – either face-to-face, by telephone, or by other electronic means – ability to communicate in an informative manner, effectively listen, and be able to handle escalating situations with concern and confidence.
- Ability to support time-based requests; able to function effectively in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment with deadlines, frequent interruptions, and some interpersonal pressure.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from college faculty and staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, regional business community, and others as may be necessary.
- Capable of exercising discretion and good judgment at all times; able to maintain a positive attitude, exhibit patience, and persistence, especially when dealing with various internal and external constituents.
- Knowledge of and experience in budgetary procedures; strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail in all areas of responsibility.
- Ability to effectively and professionally execute the essential functions of this position with proven capabilities in establishing appropriate professional rapport, communicating with courtesy and tact, accurately determine other’s needs, collecting necessary information, and follow-through when requested.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions in oral, written, or diagrammatical form (e.g., a flow chart of a process) and consider possible applications of business literature and legal documents.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, an employee must be able to:

- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Ability to travel as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- A minimum of five years progressive experience in education to include instruction in multiple modalities at the community college level
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design for higher education
- Two years of experience encompassing adult learning theory, research-based pedagogies, and online/distance learning pedagogies
- Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
- Five years of experience teaching at a community college level
- Certification in or experience with Quality Matters tools and processes
