Some of the great things you’ll do

• Develop original, creative and engaging copy for a range of print and digital media, including campaign collateral, partner- and user-facing training materials, articles, video scripts, newsletters and proposals.

• Develop original, informative and helpful content for FAQs, videos, articles, newsletters and other communications to support overall content strategy.

• Adapt content as needed to speak to our global audience or targeted regional markets.

• Deeply research topics to distill complex topics and ensure content’s accuracy and relevance.

• Refine existing or provided content to ensure clarity and consistency with brand conventions and digital best practices.

• Deftly navigate the review process to ensure content aligns with our client’s needs and feedback.

• Incorporate SEO strategies (specific to a proprietary internal search platform) to boost site traffic.

• Effectively collaborate with teams across the business (regional Food Program Managers, the global Food at Google team, partner leadership team, Compass Global team, and the MCE team both locally and globally).

• Ask questions and act proactively to create clear communications from ambiguous or evolving guidance.

• Support the transition of our site to a new content management system.

• Contribute to multiple projects and additional duties on competing timelines in a fast-paced environment.

What we look for in the perfect candidate

• 3-5 years experience writing content that's concise, clear and upbeat (food, lifestyle or hospitality industry content experience a plus).

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, English or related discipline.

• Agency experience preferred, with clear understanding of relationship-building with clients.

• Experience with commonly used style guides (Associated Press Stylebook preferred).

• Strong understanding of visual communication and the design process.

• Exceptional spelling, grammar and punctuation; strong attention to detail.

• Versed in emerging creative, digital and content technologies, platforms and best practices.

• Self-starter who can work well both independently and collaboratively across multi-level stakeholder groups.

• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of seeing projects through from concept to post-mortem.

• Interest in food, technology, culture, and role-related trends and techniques.
