• Four years of experience as an Accountant at a company with under 500 employees is required

This full time, permanent Corporate Accountant opening is at a growing, diverse, custom structural, system and metal component manufacturer. Customers are diverse and include biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical companies. The company promotes from within and does not hold employees back from growing their skillset and careers. Numerous advancement opportunities will exist as the company continues to grow. This smaller company values employees and treats employees well. The company has been in existence for approximately 30 years and employs approximately 100 employees. The company has not experienced a layoff since 2007.

• Reporting directly to ownership
• Utilizing QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
• Recording all transactions in a timely manner
• Reconciling
• Verifying invoices for accuracy and resolving inaccuracies
• Ensuring payment accuracy
• Making checks and wire-transfers as needed
• Working with vendors' accounts receivable departments and customers' accounts payable departments
• Interacting with a variety of employees
• Maintaining accurate customer accounts
• Overseeing invoice creation
• Overseeing past due accounts and collection efforts
• Overseeing accurate and timely payroll
• Overseeing employee benefits as it relates to payroll including insurance and retirement
• Overseeing cash flow

• Four or more years of experience as an Accountant at a company with under 500 employees
• Strong Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) knowledge
• Two or more years of QuickBooks experience
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
