Counter Sales Representative

The Counter Sales Representative will increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting telephone customers, as well as walk-in customers, in the selection and acquisition of millwork products, by applying technical knowledge to satisfy customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Interacts with customers via phone, email, and in person daily.
• Assist customers with millwork product sales at Will Call Counter.
• Creates all orders and quotes promptly as received, ensuring the accuracy of all relevant details.
• Handles cash, charge, returns, and credit card transactions.
• Invoicing of cash tickets.
• Coordinates with material handlers to ensure accurate and timely Will Call pickups and deliveries.
• Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns and ensures the problem is corrected to the customer and company's satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• 2 plus years’ experience in inside sales or customer service position.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
• Inside sales: 2 years (Preferred)
