The Up Down Crane Company is a NON-UNION crane rental company based in the South St. Paul/Inver Grove Heights area, basically just off 494 and Concord Avenue.

Crane Operator - Minneapolis - St. Paul

- Operate both either 30 ton or 45 ton Swing Boom Hydraulic Cranes to safely move loads of diverse types and weights from one point to another without damage to the object moved, property or personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• -Responsible for safe operation of both the truck and the crane, for use in setting of wood roof trusses, refrigeration units, and cutting down trees
• -Crane Operator is accountable for completion of daily work assignments including the completion and signature for work quality
• -Perform pre and post trip inspections as required by company and federal regulations
• -Validate that all lifting gear is inspected prior to use and that all loads of equipment are correctly rigged
• -Perform preventative maintenance as required to ensure safe and continuous service of crane, which includes but is not limited to greasing and washing crane weekly
• -Participate in continuous practical training of less experienced fellow craftsmen
• -Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the machinery operated and job site

Requirements:

• -One year as Hydraulic Swing Cab Mobile Truck Crane Operator
• -Class B CDL
• -Must be NCCCO TLL certified
• -Must pass DOT drug test & background check
• -Must possess a thorough knowledge of USA Standard hand signals
• -Must possess the ability to read, write and comprehend simple memo's and instructions
