What We Need :

The Credit and Collections Coordinator is responsible for critical tasks relating to credit review and release processes. Ensures customer credit risks are assessed and updated to maximize the number of available accounts with sales potential. Same-day turnaround time of the credit review process including credit and billing blocks to avoid backlog in fulfillment and sales revenue. Ensures adherence of Brady Global Finance policy including customer credit reviews, credit line approvals, extending credit lines, and cash in advance to mitigate potential risks to the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Direct Customer Contact:
  • Makes outbound calls to customers to process credit card orders and obtain additional information needed to make a credit decision.
  • Manage AR shared mailbox and response to customers inquires via phone, email, etc.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Responsible for Sales Tax Verification:
  • Analyze and process sales tax exemption requests and provide updates to requested parties.
  • Credit Department Admin:
  • Work closely with other departments and external customers to process orders in a timely manner.
  • Credit and Collections Critical Administrative Tasks
  • Ability to post cash, process offsets, and write offs.
  • Partner with 3rd party collection vendor to resolve disputes, provide related documents, and other requests as needed to support the collection process.
  • Manage bankruptcy accounts.
  • Process refunds.
  • Business Credit Controls:
  • Review accounts receivable records for accuracy, investigation, and update.
  • Understands and follow company Global Credit Policy.

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

  • High school graduate.
  • 3 years of related credit & collections experience.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Finance Fundamentals.
  • Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of the credit and collections functions and resolving complex credit issues.
  • Strong computer skills; ability to work with multiple system applications, Shared drives, Smartsheets, and vendor portals.

  • Ability to meet deadline and comfortable in a high-volume work environment.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Self-management and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to examine documents and investigate discrepancies.
  • Comfortable with working directly with customers.
  • Experience in SAP.
