Starting Salary: $65,000
Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient daily, monthly, and quarterly scheduling of crewmembers within the guidelines set forth by the Company General Operations Manual, Policies & Procedures Manual, FAA regulations, Company Operations Specifications, and department policies and procedures.
- Make reservations for positive space air travel and rental cars to position crewmembers to and from assignments; update and record in FOS appropriately.
- Record crewmember unavailability and other activity codes in FOS appropriately.
- Administer and coordinate monthly and quarterly crewmember availability schedules and determine crew swap requirements to ensure aircrafts are crewed appropriately.
- Ensure all crewmembers are scheduled in accordance with the FARs, Company Operations Manual, department guidelines, and Company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maximizing crewmember scheduling availability and efficiencies through comprehensive coordination and communication with Maintenance Control, Flight Control, and Training.
- Coordinate daily schedule to ensure each flight segment meets all company and FAR requirements including but not limited to: crew currency, crew qualifications, crew duty requirements, and other crew legality requirements.
- Compile and analyze data related to the scheduling function and prepare reports as required.
- Must be highly knowledgeable of the Wheels Up Private Jets Operations Manual, FAA and International Regulations, Company Operations Specifications, Company Policies and Procedures, and other pertinent information relating to his/her duties.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Crew Scheduler Lead, Director of Operations and Client Center or higher authority.
Qualifications
- 1+ years' FAR Parts 91, 121, or 135 experience.
- Experience in the airline, charter, or fractional corporate aviation industry.
- High School Diploma, or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of business jet performance capabilities.
- Excellent prioritization and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem resolution skills.
- The ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
