- Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule.
Schedule: we are hiring for Full Time
Full time schedule is 3/12.5 hour shifts – 4 days off weekly!!!
Shift:
Sunday through Tuesday or
Thursday through Saturday
Shift Differential is offered:

Monday – Thursday 7pm to 7am 10% an hour

Friday – Saturday 7pm to 7am 15% an hour
-
Saturday & Sunday 7am to 7pm 10% an hour
Job Responsibilities:
-
Build relationships with stakeholders such as receiving units, law enforcement, residential programs and external agencies
-
Conduct the crisis assessment and lethality outcomes
-
Utilize de-escalation and grounding techniques when necessary
-
Provide milieu management in the observation unit and lobby
-
Participate in monthly clinical supervision
-
Facilitate phone calls between individual and stakeholders
-
Work on an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent care to individuals
-
Communicate professionally and effectively with stakeholders
-
Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback
-
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Position Requirements:
-
Provides brief support to individuals with Mental Health (MH) or Substance Abuse Issues.

Focus is on triage, assessment, case management and brief solution focused therapy
-
Masters' Degree is required
-
2 years behavioral health experience preferred
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
The Behavioral Health Crisis Center is located in downtown Asheville within walking distance of the local hospital (Mission Hospital).
