Customer Service Advocate –

Our client with offices in Florence & Columbia, South Carolina is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team.

  • Paying $12.50 an hour + benefits

  • 3-6 Month Contract to Hire

  • Opportunity for growth/Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5PM Schedule

This position provides prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses to all telephone customer service inquiries. Performs research, as needed, to resolve inquiries.
65% of this position is spent ensuring effective customer relations by responding accurately, timely, and courteously to telephone inquiries. Accurately documenting inquiries/interactions.
15% is spent initiating minor/clerical adjustments based on provider request or processes adjustments or perform additional research with priority inquiries and special projects as required by management.
10% is spent providing feedback to management regarding customer problems/questions/needs. Maintaining accurate recors on complaints and/or other customer comments and makes recommendations for changes to management. Following through on complaints until resolved or reports to management as needed,
5% is spent maintaining basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies. Assisting with process improvement through the recommendations of changes in procedures and techniques discovered during daily operations. Maintaining all departmental productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.
5% is spent identifying and promptly reporting and/or referring suspected fraudulent activities and system errors to the appropriate departments.

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Excellent verbal communication skills / Strong human relations and organizational skills / Ability to handle high stress situations / Good judgement skills / Strong customer service skills / Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems effectively and efficiently / Basic computer operating skills / Standard office equipment
Preferred:
Associate Degree
2 years customer service or call center experience
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and database software
