Position Summary
The Customer Support Specialistis responsible for providing effective customer service for all aviation parts repair customers by using excellent knowledge of company products and processes as well as communicating effectively with team members within the business. This position is dedicated to excellence in the management and administration of our responsibilities with our aviation parts repair customers. The person holding this position is responsible for managing customer inquiries regarding sales or support. Will be responsible for resolution of customer support inquiries by working with other team members including production/shop manager, engineering, accounting, sales and shipping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and/or training or equivalent combination of education
- 1 to 2 years customer service and/or inside sales experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong detail orientation and excellent follow-through
- Commercial or General Aviation experience preferred, but not required
Job Responsibilities
- Provides timely and accurate information to customer order status and product knowledge requests.
- Responsible for the processing of POs received and managing lead time expectations.
- Processes customer orders
- Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
- Provides timely feedback to the business regarding service failures, policy and document changes, and customer concerns.
- Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
- Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
- Confers with production, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Actively participate in department and other department meetings.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
