We’re looking for a high energy Training Consultant with proven experience as a creative, self-directed technical trainer.

The Newforma Training Consultant will conduct professional training courses with our clients through live, instructor-led sessions, and on-demand learning methods. These include leading remote courses, onsite training in both lecture and hands-on style, creating video tutorials, and eLearning module planning and development. They will also provide consultative services to guide our Newforma clients in the best practices for their business requirements and successful utilization of our products.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the product and consult with customers on the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needs.
  • Serve as the trusted central point of contact for customers and bring in experts as needed to meet the customer’s needs.
  • Set expectations regarding deliverables and schedules; ensuring that the project team members are effectively communicating and collaborating.
  • Establish a communication cadence with customers to proactively discuss business needs and identify any risks to renewal.
  • Function as the customer advocate and work cross-functionally with account management, professional services, support, product management, and marketing to provide internal feedback on how we can better serve our customers.
  • Drive retention and growth among our customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.
  • Identify business challenges and develop recommended solutions through the promotion of Newforma products and services.
  • Conduct account reviews to share positive outcomes and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain customer records and notes to keep Newforma personal informed on the status of the customer.
Requirements:


  • 3+ years of technical consulting, training, support and/or sales experience, AECO experience preferred.
  • Experience with AECO industry standard platforms such Newforma Project Center, Autodesk products, Microsoft 365, construction administration software, Salesforce.com, and file sharing/collaboration tools preferred.
  • Skilled at all levels of consultative/solution selling process; particularly strong in upselling products and building rapport with customers.
  • Customer facing experience in project management, change management, account management, workflow demonstrations, software implementation and training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence interacting with customers at a senior management / decision making level.
  • Self-motivated, proactive teammate with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
