JOB SUMMARY:

CycleBar® Assembly Row in Somerville is looking for people to join our rockstar team! Our CycleBar Experience Specialists (CBX) deliver the CycleBar experience and drive sales daily.

We are looking for someone with availability in the evenings (4PM - 8PM) and weekends (7AM - 12PM). Ideal candidates would also have occasional morning (6AM - 9AM) and midday (11AM - 2PM) availability.

We are currently seeking high energy, sales motivated individuals who are passionate about the fitness industry and have a love for cycling!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deep cleaning of the studio in-between and during classes
• Provide top of the line service to all new and existing riders
• Greet all guests in a prompt, enthusiastic, but professional way to create a friendly entrance into the studio
• Get to know riders, their goals, their riding habits, lifestyles, etc. in order to provide sales options that best fit their needs
• Provide support to riders to ensure a successful class check-in process, provide studio tours, and set up bikes for all new riders
• Maintain product knowledge for all CycleBar promotions, ride packages, pricing, and retail items
• Perform all operational studio duties: completing daily tasks and checklists
• Participate in off-site special events and in-studio charity/private rides

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
• Must have genuine hospitality and passion for people
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships and retail
• Must have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
• Must have proficient computer skills and ability to learn studio’s software system
• Must have flexibility for a non-traditional schedule including some holiday, early-morning, evening and weekend availability
• Must be able and willing to move bikes, and perform minor bike maintenance
• Must be willing to deep clean equipment and all studio areas

EXPERIENCE:

• Sales: 1 year (preferred) // Fitness: 1 year (preferred)

EDUCATION:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

SALARY:

• Starting at $15/hour

COVID-19 considerations:
COVID PRECAUTIONS: 30min between classes to allow for deep clean of all equipment. PPE available for all employees. Upgraded air filtration system in studio.
