Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Damage Prevention Analyst to join our growing team. As the Damage Prevention Analyst, you will report to the Facility Locate Manager. You will be responsible for the support and development of operational reporting, analytics, and audits. These reporting tools will drive process optimization, customer service and network performance. This role requires strong business acumen, the ability to define and implement groundbreaking ideas and work within a fast-moving environment.
As the Damage Prevention Analyst your will have the following responsibilities:
- Working in various platforms collecting and analyzing data.
- Manage the data analytics of operational and network performance data.
- Create and manage spreadsheets, prepare presentations, and fact checking (CRAAP).
- Communicate with vendors to complete payments and address issues.
- Organize, coordinate, and analyze locate tickets for external Contractor work activities, issues, and quality assessment.
- Develop damage prevention ideas and solutions for an ever-changing landscape.
- Strategically works with other functional teams in innovation and driving cross functional process changes.
- Ensure utility compliance with state regulatory governing bodies rules and regulations in 20+ states (and growing).

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Associates degree or equivalent practical work experience.
- Prior industry experience in Locating and/or construction operations and vendors coordination, procedural creation and auditing.
- Prior experience/relationship with 811 a plus.
- Process improvement and customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate via written and oral communication.
