KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performed majority of the time:
Provides technical support to departmental manager and ¡Salud! Team
- Installs application program product upgrades
- Corrects application program malfunctions
- Develops new application program products and systems to meet the reporting demands of the organization and department
- Installs operating system software upgrades as indicated by IT
- Maintains software documentation in accordance with established departmental policies
- Analyzes program malfunctions in an effort to correct and prevent them
- Establishes and maintains procedures and controls for program products under consideration by the organization
- Analyzes and optimizes operating system performance
- Evaluates new and existing products with regard to their ability to meet the needs of the organization
- Serves as technical advisor/trainer for - IT staff
- Trains users on database and communicates databases’ capabilities
- Applying knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of air IT regulations to make the decision as to what is needed to keep the database current and operating efficiently
- Provides project leadership to those involved in development or implementation of application program products and/or systems
Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job:
Provides 24 hour support when necessary
- Acquires new skills/education as necessary
- Communicates application and system modification specifications to user community

Education:
Required
Associate Degree in Computer Science/Programming or equivalent education, training, or experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Programming or equivalent education, training or experience.
Experience:
Required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in programming, systems analysis, design and troubleshooting applications and infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel and Access) Microsoft SQL Language/Server, Relational Database, Javascript, C#, Oracle, R, and Python
Preferred
- Experience with healthcare related systems
- Experience with secure database application systems, SPSS, Adobe Dream Weaver, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, Omniture, PowerShell, MATLAB

- Collaborate to develop dashboard and easy to use reports for report groups

- Administer the appropriate system maintenance for the department’s database servers
- Foster a data environment focused on accuracy and integrity through analysis and coding
- Prioritizes duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
- Utilizes feedback from customers in decision making
