Star Valley Provisions, a distributor of the Boar's Head Brand, is currently seeking a reliable, energetic, dependable, and motivated individual to join our delivery personnel team.
This job requires delivering our products to various chain and independent grocers and restaurants in the Roanoke, Blacksburg, Lynchburg, Danville, Martinsville, and Smith Mountain Lake areas, as well as accurately fulfilling orders and unloading truck shipments in our refrigerated warehouse.
Must be hardworking, self-driven, willing to learn, enjoy a hands-on approach to learning, and able to work well with others.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lift 50+ lbs daily
- Unload shipments, merchandise, and rotate products.
- Interact with customers, collect payments, and keep detailed delivery records.
- Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass random drug tests and background checks.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting.
- Basic skills in math, reading, and writing.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures.
- Knowledge of delivery area a plus
