Job description
We are currently looking for a Dental Billing Clerk for our office located in Kennesaw, Georgia. This is a full-time position, Monday -Thurs 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Our ideal candidate will have full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty) and experience with insurance company follow up. Responsibilities:- follow up on all insurances over 90 days.
- paying attention to detail
- Verifies accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors
- generate/submit claims
- contact patients to update account information when /if needed
- performs other related duties, as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- familiarity with CDT codes
- being able to sit at a desk prolonged period
- resolved disputes /patients , rejected claims
