We are currently seeking a Hardware Repair Technician to work in a plant floor environment supporting a major client in the Flat Rock area. The shift is Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm.

The Hardware Repair Technician has the responsibility of repairing hardware for all plant floor workstations, printers (Zebra thermal, Printronix, laser), PCs, laptops, scanners and other various items supporting plant floor production. This position provides technical support for Windows, IT applications and hardware for office users and plant floor systems in support of plant production requirements.

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with minimum of three (3) years’ REPAIR experience in PC, printer hardware and peripherals repair. Advanced knowledge of Windows. Capable of “hot swap” configuration such as TCP/IP settings, mapping printers and network drives, and manage active directory.

Required skills:

Excellent troubleshooting skills and tear down repair of various electronic equipment. Working knowledge of Windows platforms and Active Directory. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Works well with a team under general supervision.

Required experience:

Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in hardware repair. Electronics familiarity is a plus. Advanced knowledge of PC operation systems. Ability to work with customer management in regard to teamwork, reporting, and performance.

Manufacturing Environment experience is preferred and is a plus. Honesty, reliability, and someone who is eager to learn and be part of the team is a must.
