Desktop Engineer for End User Services at our onsite client location. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infrastructure teams, Engineering teams and Subject Matter Experts. Lead needs to maintain best practices and collaborate with client stakeholders to set the technical vision and target architecture.

Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 years of Information Technology Experience.
- Clear understanding of industry standard IT infrastructure platforms, terminology, and leading providers, for EUS
- Work with multiple vendors for EUS functions including client stakeholders
- Work in Various life cycle stages for EUS – including procurement, deployments, resolve hardware and software issues, patching, software deployment, VIP Support, ITAD etc.
- Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
- Planning/organizing -able to prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks.
- Quality control-demonstrates accuracy in configuration and documentation, with a desire for standardization.
- Dependability- consistently at work and on time, ensures follow-up with customers.
- Teamwork -works well with co-workers, including cross-training on technology.
- Possesses hands on expertise in troubleshooting day to day operational issues, Reporting the environment and host related issues quickly
- Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require judgement, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions.
- Knowledge share with-in the team and build the knowledge levels of the entire team.

- Interact and Co-ordinate with application owners, operations teams – application, infrastructure, network and security, change and release management team and external vendors
- Resolve technical issues during migration, perform root cause analysis and address complex and critical migration issues from architecture perspective
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
- Provides technical support and coordination to service providers in relation to configuration management for communications hardware.
- The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
