Job description
Midwest Machinery, Co. (MMC), is adding a Detailer to our Stewart, MN location. This position will clean and cosmetically preps new and used equipment for display, storage or delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Wash/rinse new equipment, clean windows (inside and out) and interiors of new machinery
- Wash/scrub exterior, clean interior and windows (inside and out) of used equipment
- Apply decals as directed
- Apply touch-up paint as directed
- Wax/polish equipment as directed
- Keep work area clean and free of hazards
- Assist in cleaning the shop and keeping it free of hazards
- Help with external maintenance (ie, clearing snow, de-icing sidewalks, etc.)
- Participates in the After Hours Program
- Actively assists in recruiting service work
- Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Prior detailing experience preferred
Physical, Mental and Other Requirements:
- Frequent bending and stooping
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly
- Climbing/using ladders
- Ability to use a forklift/skid loader
- Ability to work in a damp environment
- Valid drivers license with an insurable driving record required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
