The County of Riverside’s Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions (HWS) is hiring a Development Specialist I to join the Employer Services Unit team in the Riverside and Indio location. The incumbent will assists in the preparation, modification, administration and evaluation of funding requests from other counties, contractors and service providers, collaborate and advise cities, local non-profit corporations and regional entities on current business trends and economic development, summarize information for review and analysis by the division supervisor, as well as perform other duties as assigned.

Competitive candidates will have exceptional writing and graphic content skills, knowledge of budget concepts, and experience preparing grant reports and other related written submissions. Candidates with experience working with/in community based organizations in the field of grant writing, reporting, and administration are also highly regarded.
