iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Houma, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleets' needs.
We are looking for a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department in Baton Rouge, LA, working a Monday-Friday shift.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Dependable and punctual;
- Have at least one-year experience working as a heavy-duty diesel tech.
Responsibilities:
- Able to troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctionings;
- Perform routine PM, such as oil changes, checking/changing batteries, etc,;
- Perform Warranty Maintenance;
- Duties as assigned.
