Job Overview
You will maintain the commercial vehicle fleet by inspecting vehicles and repairing and replacing parts. Duties include performing work specified on maintenance and repair orders, diagnosing and repairing, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.
TDuties and responsibilities
- Follow and adhere to all safety rules, training, and best practices at all times.
- Demonstrate complete technical understanding and ability to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and electrical controls, instrumentation, pneumatic, lubrication, and systems and components.
- Ensure all paperwork and digital information is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with all required information.
- Attend and practice all required training.
- Perform preventive maintenance techniques on equipment to enhance uptime conditions.
- Complete preventative maintenance and other reliability tasks, assist in diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds of machines; partner with others on non-routine repairs and defect handling solutions.
- Utilize root cause analysis thought process to ensure the sustainability of corrective actions and/or improvements to drive asset reliability.
