Job Summary

Eurest is seeking an experienced culinary professional with project management, office administration, digital menu engineering and experience in supporting web-based menu applications. This position will extensively work with all approved digital menu platforms including mobile menu applications, kiosk ordering systems, digital signage solutions and Webtrition2 Menuworks, Compass Group’s proprietary recipe and menu management system, to support Eurest culinary standards and field program implementation.

The Digital Menu Specialist reporting to Director of Culinary Standards & Webtrition, must have a very strong ability to oversee and maintain project structure to include clear direction, efficiencies, and time management goals as well as a strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute projects as assigned
• Work directly with sector team and operators to identify data issues, plan resolution, and implement digital menu clean-up projects
• Support technology integration of culinary programming to ensure flow is appropriate
• Maintenance of digital menu cycles including entering, editing and maintaining new and existing menus while organizing and maintaining digital copies of recipes/menus
• Evaluate field use of applications based on defined criteria, interpret results and make recommendations to improve menu adoption
• Product Management - follow defined protocol to maintain system administrative functions, deliver field support, and manage menu governance
• Support culinary governance for other app-based revenue streams such as Eat Club and Catertrax
• Update core recipe lists and menu cycles to ensure recipes and pricing is accurate
• Input accurate recipes in Webtrition aligned with sector standards and innovation

Experience/Qualifications:

• Culinary background: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in food science, culinary arts or equivalent is preferred. 5+ years Foodservice management experience required.
• Database Knowledge: Experience and proficiency with databases, Microsoft office, digital menu platforms (POS, mobile and/or kiosk ordering systems) and a recipe management system a must.
• Project Management: Strong project management experience, strong attention to detail effective organizational and planning skills
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as yield, true cost and margin. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Advanced verbal, written communication and analytical skills. Strong team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including knowledge transfers, conflict management issue escalation, expectation management and translation of business needs into technical requirements. Service oriented, collaborative approach to internal customer and peer relations. Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to manage others.
• Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
