Job Summary
The - Digital Menu Strategy Manager will be responsible for working with the Senior Menu Manager over the long-term strategy of digital menus, governance strategy to enhance and maintain those menus, driving value to guests and operators from the menu structure.
This position will also serve as a liaison between Compass Digital (CD) and Executive level culinary and marketing operators within the Compass Group. This position is also responsible to manage the Digital Menu Team, ensuring that the team performance, growth, and management meets or exceeds expectations.
This position will be the SME for CD on the setup, execution, creation, and update strategies for menus across our digital portfolio, creating internal value for organizations within CD
Responsibilities:
- Ability to define and drive high level digital menu strategy
- Understand menu configuration proficiently across all internal and tier one products
- Identifies and leverages data to evolve existing or define new strategies
- Professionally represents Compass Digital, customers and potential customers, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Attendance at relevant business meetings (e.g. sector regional and divisional, zones and summits).
- Document digital menu strategies
- Lead and participate in menu workshops with operations teams and internal CD teams
- Support Sector financial goals through complimentary menu initiatives
- Identify and Hire new candidates
- Onboard and oversee training of Digital Menu Team leaders
- Manages and teaches direct reports to align with development strategy
- Serve as the SPOC for Digital Menu of a business sector relevant to CD needs
- Ensures team inclusion for key decision points
- Resource of resolution to others, including cross functionally
- Develops the ability to provide thought leadership on behalf of the team and brings forward ideas
- Takes responsibility for complex or important medium-term projects
- Initiates decision-making and influences across CD
Qualifications:
- 5+ years related experience in culinary operations and/or technology
- Proven success in digital menu strategy experience strongly preferred
- Must have previous senior culinary operational tenure
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
- Must be service-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must have strong customer relationship and presentation skills
- Strong project management and problem solving skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Travel (approximately 25%) required as business needs arise
