Catholic Community Services (CCS) provides services to all! We are seeking Direct Services Professionals (DSP) to work with intellectually, mentally, or developmentally disabled adult clients. Location: Tucson, Arizona

Compensation: $14.00 per hour. Overtime and bonus potential!

DSPs are eligible for a retention bonus based on hours worked up to $15.50 per hour!

We conduct a five panel pre-employment drug test (includes marijuana regardless of recreational use laws) prior to employment for this safety sensitive position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists residents with personal care areas on a daily basis. Personal care tasks may include showering/bathing etc., preparing meals, budgeting/bill-paying/banking, and shopping. Maintains living environment in a clean, sanitary, neat and safe condition at all times. Maintains compliance with all health and safety, facility related licensing standards (DES, DDD and DHS).
• Implements recommended physical, occupational and speech therapy exercises.
• Documents implementation of recommended programs, outcomes, progress and concerns using the Therapy web-based documentation system.
• Attends regular meetings i.e. agency, individual client, and staff interactions, and in-service training sessions as required by supervisor.
• May Drive personal or company vehicle for work related tasks and errands.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School / GED or equivalent; or equivalent of experience (approved by Human Resources Director) in lieu of education.
• Proven ability to lift 60 pounds 20% of the time
• Must be able to obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and maintain throughout employment
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana)
• Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and 39 month Motor Vehicle Report

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education
• 1 year of experience in an independent living setting, residential or day program working with persons with disabilities
