We are seeking someone to join our Famous Footwear team in St. Louis as a Director, Loss Prevention. We seek someone who’s highly analytical and passionate about continued process improvement to help drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
As a Director, Loss Prevention, you will:
- Ensure the protection of all our company's assets including associates, customers, properties, inventory, and brands.
- Proactively partner with business leaders to deliver the financial metrics related to shrinkage, mismates, worker’s compensation, and general liability.
- Review and recommend capital and expenses for projects with the greatest ROI.
- Direct and maintain the physical security for all offices and facilities and manage all high-profile investigations within the organization.
- Coach, teach, and train the Regional VPs’, District Sales Managers’ and Stores on how to utilize appropriate techniques and policies for internal and external theft prevention practices to prevent losses.
- Develop annual loss prevention department strategic plans that identify actions needed to achieve results.
- Act as the liaison to Local, State, and Federal law enforcement agencies and stay current with loss prevention industry standards.
- Serve as the subject matter expert, recommend tools and technology to improve company-operating profit.

Qualifications:
We seek people with these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years retail management experience preferred
- POS Exception reporting preferred
- Experience using Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
