The primary objective for the Director of Human Resources and Recruiting is to build a best-in-class department focused on enhancing our current HR program and building/implementing our recruiting strategy. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: general HR program management, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, employee engagement, employee development and training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, risk management, and employment law compliance. This position also serves as the Compliance Officer for the named entities, helping each to manage and expand our current compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Essential Functions

1. Evaluate, expand, and drive toward a best-in-class human resources department, including strategy development, policies, onboarding, recruiting, retention, compliance, etc.

2. Actively promote diversity, support, and inclusion within the practice as a strategic priority.

3. Serves as the Corporate Compliance Officer (including HIPAA) for named entities.

4. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

5. Work with executive leadership to create a strategic plan for physician recruitment ensuring that we meet the needs of our growing business for the foreseeable future.

6. In conjunction with physician leadership, propagate structure around the existing physician mentorship program as part of recruitment/retention strategy.

7. In conjunction with physician leadership, manage and develop partnerships with external strategic alliances (American College of Radiology, Strategic Radiology, Fellowship Programs and Medical Schools etc.) to develop recruiting relationships.

8. Develop a robust onboarding process inclusive of a comprehensive manual for new hires.

9. Adhere to strict confidentiality standards as required of HR leadership.

10. Serve as a member of the physician behavior committee.

11. Build employee engagement strategies to help with cultural advancement and retention.

12. Maintains the employee performance evaluation program

13. Perform annual review and upkeep of employee benefits (health plan, 401k/profit sharing, etc.). Communicate any benefit changes to employees. Enroll all new employees in benefits.

14. Oversees medical malpractice history and claims, coordinates quarterly meetings with ELT to review open claims.

15. Processes payroll.

16. 401K and Cash Balance Plan Administration: Monitor Service Providers; plan documents; employee census data; annual compliance testing; plans form 5500; distributes annual employee disclosures and calculates employer contributions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Occasional travel, 3-6 times/year.

Required Education and Experience

1. A bachelor’s degree

2. 5-7 years of human resource experience with at least 3 years of leadership experience

3. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred

4. 3-5 years’ experience and/or training in healthcare compliance

5. Corporate compliance experience is a plus

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

1. Familiarity with health care laws, regulations and standards

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
